September 12, 2006 - Sepang Results, etc.

I still have not gotten the chance to see the Sepang race. I might have to chalk this one up as the one that got away. I heard that it was an exciting race which doesn't surprise me in the least. I looked at the final results (which I will post below).... Nicky!!! What's going on? He's been in a bit of a slump the past few races. I hope he hasn't lost his edge. I'd love to see him hang on to the championship this year, but I'm kinda pulling for Rossi and a comeback.

I am looking forward to the Australian GP which kicks off in a few days. I don't have any road trips planned for this weekend, so hopefully I will be able to get my ass back in gear and catch all of the action :)

My event went well this past weekend (thanks for asking!). Team W.A.R.P. Speed made another stellar showing on the track in South Carolina. All three of the team members that ran trophied in their respective classes. Ed Jr. and I brought home firsts, and Ed Sr a second. It was so nice reconnecting with our fellow competitors in the SCR. We haven't seen them in almost a year! They are still the same fantastic group though, and I hope we get to compete up there again soon.

Here are a few pictures from the event:

All in all it was a fantastic weekend. We always have more fun than should be allowed at the races.

It's SO good to see Sete back out there, and doing a fine job!! The points are closing up for the championship. Nicky still sits in first, followed closely by Dani Pedrosa, and Rossi rounds out the top three, but I see an upset in the near future! Capirossi is creeping up on the top three as well.... at this point it is anyone's win. What an exciting year!

Okay, off I go to update rider profiles.....

Until next time......

Rubb'er Down :)
