November 14 , 2006 - Deals and Doings

It's that time of year again.... if you listen closely, you can hear the panic settling in over the masses. I added a little section to the site that should help you find the perfect gift for the speed-freak in your life... or, on your list. I'll be adding to it right up until the last minute, so be sure to check often for new ideas and spankin' good deals.

I have posted in several places throughout the site, but I am going to post it here too because it should be taken advantage of by all.... MotorcycleSuperstore is having a righteous sale at the moment on select helmet brands. I have linked to a couple of the better deals on the Helmets home page, and updated the KBC Helmet page to reflect their sale prices and links to each respective helmet. I am not here to push merchandise, but seriously, these are too good to pass up.

Okay, enough of that crap. The 2007 MotoGP racing schedule has been officialy released to the public. There have been a few changes made, and one race added to the line-up (Frickin' Yippee!!!).

Print this out and post it on your refrigerator on some sort of day-glo colored paper so that you can be sure to have the appropriate tasty adult beverages and assorted snacks and treats when race days roll around.

There has been no ground-breaking news from the MotoGP circuit in recent days. Testing continues on the new 800cc machines, and is going smoothly. I am eagerly awaiting the news as to who will be sponsoring Yamaha next year, but, nothing as of yet. The Gresini Honda bikes will be sporting a new sponsor as well... but it's still a mystery as to who that may be. Kudos to MotoGP for keeping the mystery alive :)

That's about all I have for today.

Until next time......

Rubb'er Down :)
