January 3 , 2007 - Christmas trip to SC

Not much news to speak of in the world of MotoGP. The testing ban is still in effect until January 20th, and March 10th seems eons away. The boredom factor has reached a new high here at MO headquarters. I have been able to get some decent "time on two" in lately though..... yippee :)

A couple of days after Christmas, the FL family headed north to visit the SC family. For the first time in many years, my brothers and I were all under my mother's roof together.... the poor woman :) Good times!!!

Spaz and Heather and I were not able to haul our rockets up like we had originally hoped, however, Edder did grace us with the presence of the 929.... recently dubbed "The Fairy Bike" (OMG.. this is the best roast beef sammich EVER!) Even though it was frickin freezing up there, I did get an opportunity to hop on said Fairy Bike and cruise some of the old familiar twisties of the foothills of SC. JOY!!!

Spaz snapped a couple of good pictures of Ed and the 929. The first of which shows Edder expertly airing out the front tire. DISCLAIMER!!!!! I do not now, nor have I ever condoned riding without FULL gear. This stunt was performed by a professional rider on a closed course... riding at his own risk.
