August 9, 2006 - Obligatory update to keep things fresh

There's not a damn thing going on around MO headquarters!! The boredom factor has hit a new high. El Shit Stain is sitting at Spaz's house awaiting some new parts, so I can't even go outside and point and laugh at her anymore :(

7 days until the next MotoGP race..... oh JOY!!! The second half of the season will be cranking up soon. Sete Gibernau went in for some more surgery on his bone of the collar variety. He's had lots of time to heal, so I expect great things from him in the near future. MotoGP.com has a poll up on their site that asks if Rossi is out of the running for the championship this year due to his myriad of set backs, and the result is split right down the middle.... 26,000 feel that it's over for him, and 24,000 feel that he still has a chance. I personally think he can pull it out if he steps up his game for the second half of the season. Actually, most of the races he did poorly in were due to mechanical failure, so I shall wag my finger of disapproval at Yamaha and assert that they should step up their game..... so there!

I made a graphic for the site. I don't know where I am going to put it yet, but I will find a place for it (this is what happens when I have too much time on my hands). I did shrink it down so that it could be used as a signature file for the emails..... but who knows if it will ever see the light of day that way since I haven't sent out any newsletters recently. So I will debut it here with my gratuitous ramblings......

Motorcycle Obsession

ooooooooo....... ahhhhhhhh..... oooohhhhhhh... feast your eyes on the fantastically unspectacular :)

There are a few new additions to the Ride Gallery.... this week we are welcoming Tom and his F4i track bike, and Jim (Jimmy with the bad ass bikes) with Ugly Dog Racing and his Aprilia street bike and GSXR track bike.

I still haven't been able to get my hands on a lowering kit for the SV... if any of you have any suggestions as to where I might find one.... hit me!!

OK, that'll do it for me...... I have to go and thin the herd of brown bottles in my refrigerator. Population control is a daunting task..... but I am strong and determined. I understand that it might not be pretty, but it's for the good of the regime, and I am not one to fly in the face of the master plan. So, I must do what I must do...... CHEERS!!!

Until next time......

Rubb'er Down :)
