August 18, 2006 - Part II - Results of FP2 from Brno
Is it Christmas? Although Nicky didn't make to the top 10 during the second free practice at Brno.... the top three couldn't make me ANY happier (considering Sete's not participating)!! I will dare say it's a fluke, because Randy de Puniet's performance was stellar in the last 5 minutes of practice. He usually ends up hovering near the #10 spot, and finds his race results in 12th or 13th.... this has been my observation. Alas, the hot little Frenchman pulled out the 2nd fastest lap time today. This makes me happy!! Rossi sits on top of the second session.... by nearly 2 seconds!! Today we saw some consistency from The Doctor..... is he back?? Let's hope so! To round out the top three this morning....... (drum roll)... Loris Capirossi. Nice! He appeared to be having some trouble making the big Duc stick to the track in the beginning of the session, but in the end, he smacked down a righteous lap time.... guess it stuck :)
The boys will be playing again tomorrow morning at 4 for FP3, and qualifying follows at 8.
