AGV GP-Tech Celebr8 Rossi Replica Helmet

AGV GP-Tech Celebr8 Helmet. 2008 proved to be a very challenging, and therefore very rewarding season for Valentino Rossi. By round 15 in Motegi, Vale needed only to secure a 3rd place finish to win the title of World Champion for the 8th time. It was not a run away win for the Italian uber rider, however, after successfully clicking through Lorenzo, Pedrosa and finally Casey Stoner, Rossi found himself leading the race and eventually crossing the finish line to claim his 8th World championship title.

The Motegi race was run with Rossi donning the 5 Continents lid by AGV. However, after the race, the showman staged a small performance in the form of a strategically placed desk and a man in a suit. He cruised over to the desk, where he was presented with a Celebr-8 helmet which was then signed as a contract and replaced his race helmet for his victory lap. He also wore a t-shirt with a cartoon clock on the front with the hands set to an oversized "8" and the words "Scusate il ritardo" which translates into "Sorry for the delay".... in reference to the two year delay in winning his 8th World Championship title.

The trademark sun and moon are displayed side by side on the back of the helmet.

AGV GP-Tech Celebr-8 Helmet. The latest and best venting helmet AGV has ever offered. Valentino Rossi himself helped them design this one! The GP Tech is also the first helmet AGV has ever produced with 3 shell sizes ensuring a great fit for everyone. Adjustable cheek pads and liners will help you find the right combination to fit your size and shape head. The shell is made from Carbon and Kevlar using our SSL Technology. AGV hasincreased the number of vents and improved the porting in their integrated vent system to improve the air flow through the helmet. They do this by using a 2 piece EPS that allows them to mold channels in the inner and outer parts of the helmet to help improve the air flow through the helmet. What this means is that the GP Tech has the most efficient cooling system on the market. An all new flush mounted, quick release tool less shield system and a cool max liner are just some of the quality features on this helmet.
