2005 Suzuki GSX-R1000
If there was ever a family of motorcycles that "owned the racetrack" the GSX-R line is it. Not surprising considering the thousands of GSX-R motorcycles sold worldwide since the model's inception, and their popularity at all levels of roadracing. The new generation of GSX-R motorcycles is features an open-class machine with the best power-to-weight ratio in its class.
The 2005 GSX-R1000 K5 has a redesigned engine and chassis. It weighs 4.4 lbs.less than the 2004 and the engine has 11cc larger piston displacement, now producing 170 hp. It has a totally new frame reducing the total length of the bike by 1.6 in. but reducing its wheelbase only marginally (0.5 mm/ 0.02 in.). New brakes (radial mounted calipers and 310 mm discs at the front). The new catalytic eye-catching titanium silencer is said to be designed to reduce turbulence to minimum.

2005 Suzuki GSX-R1000
The GSX-R1000 is light, powerful and more balanced than any other street legal race replica and even many racing bikes!
