Karel Abraham
Karel Abraham entered the World Championship arena in 2005, debuting on an Aprilia alongside Dario Giuseppetti in the Semprucci Racing Team. The 2006 campaign saw him continue to acquire experience on board a Cardion AB Motoracing Aprilia, although he had a relatively quiet season, only scoring in two Grands Prix and finishing in 24th place.
The Czech rider continued with Cardion AB in 2007, taking the step up to the 250cc category and doing well in his debut quarter-litre class campaign as he scored points in 10 races and concluded the year 16th overall. In 2008 he undertook his fourth full season in the World Championship and improved his points tally, even if he could not move up the final standings. Continuing with Cardion AB Motoracing in 2009, Abraham managed to amass more points than in the previous two seasons combined, finishing the season in 14th place.
In 2010 Karel and Cardion AB moved up to the new 600cc Moto2 class, where the Czech piloted his FTR to and extremely respectable 10th place finish in the final standings. For 2011, Karel and Cardion AB will take another step forward and join the premier class where he will pilot a Ducati in his rookie year.
